Georgia -11.5 vs Clemson- How tasty. This number was up to 13.5 just a couple of days ago and its dropped 2 points because of the looming suspensions for the Bulldogs. Not concerned. Georgia has waves and waves of talent, depth is the furthest thing from a problem for the #1 ranked team in the country. Georgia is a wrecking ball in these situations. Just look back to two years, game 1 against a really good Oregon Ducks team, demolished them. 49-3. Oregon only lost 2 more games that year, this is just what elite teams do, and Georgia is the new bully on the block. Also, since 2021, Kirby’s Bulldogs are 72% ATS against ranked competition. Bulldogs minus the points, lock it up!

Florida +2.5 vs Miami- Chemistry is a cheat code early in the season in today’s college football world, and Florida has it. 14 starters across offense and defense are coming back from last year’s Gator team. Meanwhile, the competition brings in over 15 transfers, one of the highest numbers in the country. And maybe these guys will be good for Miami, but I’m guessing they don’t gel in 95 degree humid Florida heat, game 1 of the season, in one of the most raucous atmospheres in all of college football. I like the Gators to win outright but I’ll take the points for insurance @ the Swamp. Gators +2.5, lock it up!

West Virginia 1^st half +4.5 vs Penn State- These two teams met last year and it was a really competitive game, I was on West Virginia, bad beat at the end, I won’t get into it but I’m still pretty salty about it. I want in on the Mountaineers again, but I’m going to get out before the 4^th quarter this time. Penn State is the superior team here, but West Virginia’s home field advantage in Morgantown is going to be SERIOUS. WV returns their QB Garrett Greene and their top RB CJ Donaldson, two guys who fared well against the Nittany Lions last year. Penn State is also breaking in 3 new coordinators, including their OC, so I could see a slower start here, on the road, in a hostel environment against a team that’s out for revenge. Give me West Virginia with the points in the first half only, lock it up!

USC/LSU over 64.5 points- No surprise here, both of these teams hired new defensive coordinators in the offseason. We’re talking about two of the worst defenses from a year ago and if the two quarterbacks that went #1 and #2 in the NFL Draft (Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels) were still on these rosters we would be looking at a total that's closer to 80/85 points. I think some will look and say – Ok, but both of those guys are gone, so these offenses will take a step back. Not necessarily. Miller Moss takes over @ USC, Garrett Nussmeier @ LSU, both combined for 9 touchdowns in their bowl games from the previous postseason. These guys can play. And both teams still have enough playmakers to do damage against defenses that will take at least a month to get their sh*t together. Give me the OVER @ 64.5 on a Sunday night, lock it up!
